NEW

“Extend maintenance”
Possible to extend the running maintenance window with 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 4 hours, including a mandatory reason field (predefined answers or free text).
“Stop Maintenance” new popup-screen
In line with the Strato look and feel, instead of the windows pop-up. Adding a mandatory reason field (predefined answers or free text) to explain why a maintenance window is ended earlier.
Modernised startscreen
The startscreen has been modernised with information cards, including links to jump to the right section or documentation.

[BUG] Settings link in header does not work on a pure GEN3 tenant
[BUG] Hostgroups were not sorted and lacked a search option, which was cumbersome in large lists
[BUG] Host screen only showing first 1000
Fixed by adding a specific “max hosts to fetch” and a “max entities per type for tag lookup” field in the settings page. If you are running more than 1000 hosts in your environment, please update those settings to match the required maximum (hard limit at 15000).

NEW

“Put in maintenance” intent on hosts
When you are on a page that contains a HOST, and you use the context-sensitive menu “Open With…” you can now choose Maintenance Mode Manager to immediately create a maintenance window for the selected host.
On the “Tags page” improve the preview window
Not only can you see more easily what entity type is involved, but also empty lists are using the default visualisation for empty.
Show Planned / Unplanned in the rules overview
Mark unplanned maintenance windows with a red UNPLANNED tag.
Color coding footer
As people in operations often have multiple screens open, we have implemented a new color coding of the app-footer to indicate the current tenant (this can be configured per tenant in the settings as the Footer Signal Color).
Show all details of configured maintenance windows
On the rules page, you can now expand the maintenance rule line, to see the comments and which tags/hosts were put in maintenance with the MMM app.

[BUG] Host view also showed k8s pods, now you only see real hosts
[BUG] The hover functionality was missing in the Tags page so that you couldn’t see all defined tags, this is fixed.
[BUG] in the dropdown lists of the tags, values were often cut-off because the dropdowns did not size correctly to fit the text, this is fixed.
[BUG] in some circumstances, the Audit-logrecord wasn’t written to Grail when a maintenance window was ended using the “end button” on screen.
Added type-ahead filters in pulldown tag-fields, so that you can start typing in the field to find a tag or a value.
